Second Line IT Support Engineer

As a Second Line IT Support Engineer in the IT Operations Department at Paysera, you will be responsible for providing technical support on the 2nd level, escalating complex issues to third-line support to developers, and collaborating with other members of the IT Operations Department to maintain and improve the organisation's technology infrastructure.

What you will do:

Provide technical support to developers and internal users, including diagnosing and resolving system issues, and providing guidance on the use of IT systems and services;

Escalate complex issues to third-line support, and follow up on the resolution of issues;

Monitor and maintain system performance, including system availability, reliability, and security;

Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, including system crashes, slow performance, and security incidents;

Develop and maintain system documentation, including system configuration and procedures;

Collaborate with other members of the IT Operations Department to ensure that IT systems and services meet the needs of the business;

Participate in IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and deployments;

Manage and maintain IT assets, including hardware and software inventory;

Develop and maintain relationships with end-users to understand their technology needs and priorities.

What we expect:

At least 3 years of experience in IT support, preferably in a technology-intensive organisation;

Strong experience with Linux based systems and OS;

Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, including routing, switching, and firewall configuration;

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills;

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities;

Experience with ticketing systems and ITIL service management frameworks;

Good English language skills.
