Head of BA/PO

Lead, inspire, and manage the BA/PO team to ensure high levels of collaboration, productivity, and job satisfaction;

Handle the hiring/firing, training, assessment, and personal development of all team members;

Handle performance management issues;

Design, implement, and continuously optimise BA and PO processes to support the software development lifecycle;

Establish and ensure adherence to best practices, standards, templates, and guidelines for business analysis and product ownership;

Collaborate closely with the IT, Business, and other relevant departments to ensure that the BA/PO function aligns with business goals;

Engage with senior stakeholders to gather feedback, address concerns, and ensure that the BA/PO deliverables meet the organisation's expectations;

Drive the strategic direction of the BA/PO function, ensuring it aligns with Paysera's overarching business and IT strategy;

Identify opportunities for process improvement, technological innovation, and business alignment to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the BA/PO department;

Establish mechanisms for general knowledge sharing inside the IT department within the BA/PO team and the broader organisation;

Ensure that the BA/PO team is consistently upskilled and aligned with industry best practices.

Expect to perform routine daily tasks using ChatGPT or a similar tool to enhance efficiency and productivity.

A minimum of 5 years of experience in business analysis, product ownership, or a closely related field;

Proven track record of establishing and optimising BA processes in software development environments;

Strong people management skills, with experience in hiring, training, and performance management;

Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills;

Familiarity with industry-standard BA tools and methodologies;

Professional certifications in business analysis or product ownership are a plus;

Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills;

Ability to lead and inspire a diverse team;

Adaptable and comfortable in a fast-paced environment;

Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and consistency;

Fluency in verbal and written English.

Proven familiarity and experience with AI tools like ChatGPT and other technologies, demonstrating a capability to seamlessly integrate these into daily tasks.
