The financial technology company Paysera LT announces changes in its management – from now on, the position of Chief Executive Officer will be taken over by Dr. Justina Šidlauskienė, who for the past 2.5 years has served as Deputy CEO.

"I take on the leadership of Paysera LT with both a strong sense of responsibility and genuine enthusiasm. Our direction is clear – to further strengthen our position as a market leader in the e-commerce segment and to deliver an exceptional experience for both business and private clients. We will do this by introducing new financial solutions and continuously improving existing ones. Among our upcoming initiatives is the launch of a peer-to-peer lending platform," said J. Šidlauskienė, CEO of Paysera LT.

The new CEO emphasises that sustainable growth is inseparable from the highest compliance standards:

"In finance, trust is fundamental. That is why one of my top priorities will be to further strengthen our internal processes, risk management, and compliance frameworks to meet the highest standards, working in close partnership with the Bank of Lithuania," said J. Šidlauskienė.

Marijus Plančiūnas, who headed the fintech company for the past 2.5 years, is moving on to continue his career with the international Aventus Group, which has a workforce of around 4,500 employees.

"I am proud of all that we have accomplished together in recent years – Paysera has not only experienced rapid growth but has also established itself as a clear leader in the financial technology market. I am deeply grateful to the entire team. With full confidence, I now pass the baton to Justina – she knows the company inside out and is exceptionally well-prepared to lead Paysera to new heights. I wish her and the whole organisation every success," said M. Plančiūnas.

J. Šidlauskienė holds a PhD in Social Sciences from ISM University of Management and Economics and is currently conducting postdoctoral fellowship at Vilnius University. Prior to her appointment as CEO, she served as Deputy CEO, overseeing client support, sales, marketing, and human resources at a strategic level.

Paysera LT currently employs over 220 people, while the entire Paysera Group – more than 800 employees.
