Anti-Money Laundering/International Sanctions Specialist

We are looking for an AML/International Sanctions Specialist who is willing to work together with international team in order to monitor, investigate , report suspicious financial activities and mainly focus on international sanctions. We are on the lookout for individuals who are committed to self-improvement and are not afraid to employ innovative AI tools in their daily work to drive progress.

What you will do:

Financial crime prevention;

Identifying and improving key areas requiring attention and strengthening, by giving recommendations in line with industry standards and applicable regulations;

Participation in ongoing development of internal sanction screening systems and procedures;

Keeping up to date with regulatory developments regarding the International and European sanctions regime (US sanctions regime would be a plus);

Advising your colleagues on sanctions matters, developing internal know-how and perfecting institutional understanding on sanctions matters;

Support in evaluating risks concerning financial sanctions;

Implementation of anti-money laundering and terrorist financing requirements;

Cooperation with law enforcement and financial institutions;

Monitoring financial transactions;

Efficient due diligence on existing clients.

Expect to perform routine daily tasks using ChatGPT or a similar tool to enhance efficiency and productivity.

What we expect:

Previous working experience in International sanctions screening and financial services industry;

Knowledge in International and European sanctions regulations and guidance;

At least 1 year of experience in AML/terrorist financing prevention (preferably in a financial institution) or crime investigation in a law enforcement institution;

Higher education in Law (International and European Law would be a plus);

Knowledge of relevant laws, legal acts, and requirements;

Fluency in English (knowledge of Russian would be a plus);

The ability to work in a flexible, fast-paced, and demanding environment;

Analytical thinking, problem-solving mindset and attention to details.

Proven familiarity and experience with AI tools like ChatGPT and other technologies, demonstrating a capability to seamlessly integrate these into daily tasks.
