Paysera has activated 40 self-service terminals and is now entering a new phase of expansion

#
The financial technology company Paysera has announced that 40 of its self-service terminals, acquired from the company Foxpay, are now operational in Lithuania. After restoring the operation of some previously acquired terminals, the company is now launching an active sales campaign targeting new clients, with a stronger focus on private businesses.

New Paysera self-service terminals have recently been installed at several key locations, offering residents more convenient ways to pay for services. These include Vilnius International Airport, Vilnius City Clinical Hospital, and the Karoliniškės and Šeškinė polyclinics in the capital.

"After acquiring the terminals, our top priority was to restore service in locations where it could make the greatest positive impact – primarily in healthcare institutions. Last year, when the terminals were no longer operational, some facilities were left with just one or two cashiers to serve hundreds of patients each day," said Remigijus Pranskaitis, Head of Self-Service Terminal and ATM Products at Paysera.

The company noted that while it was technically possible to restore all previously operational terminals, some were not reactivated due to shifting priorities within public institutions, while others remain pending as public procurement procedures are still underway.

According to R. Pranskaitis, having met the initial goal of restoring terminals where feasible, Paysera is now entering a new phase – actively expanding its offering to a wider range of clients, with a particular focus on private businesses.

"We’re looking beyond everyday payments at retail or service locations. Paysera terminals are a versatile solution that can benefit businesses of all sizes, as well as associations and non-profit organisations, by enabling the processing of various payments – monthly payments, membership fees, donations, or contributions," said R. Pranskaitis.

Between the beginning of 2025 and 14 May, residents carried out 95,000 transactions at Paysera self-service terminals, totalling €2.6 million in payments.
